I already liked -- and purchased -- Eggos, so I wasn't too worried when I got a #free sample of their new product, Blueberry Protein Waffles. Even though it's always a warning when something is extra healthy, this time don't worry, as they've not only made another great waffle -- and with blueberries which is my fave -- but they've upped the protein. I liked the idea of the much needed extra protein, but once again does that change the taste? Well, maybe for the better, because these waffles are great! The wonderful light but flavorful Eggo waffle, some real blueberry taste, and extra protein! Bravo!

I was a little worried that these Eggo Protein Blueberry Frozen Waffles would have a strange taste because of the added protein but to my surprise they didn't. They tasted just like regular waffles! They are super easy to make and make a great quick breakfast. #freesample

These waffles are a bit less flavorful than the regular version. If one is really trying to get more protein into their diet, then this is just another way, but not one I would necessarily use. #sponsored

These waffles are absolutely delicious and my kids especially love them. They taste just like regular waffles but have the added benefit of packing 10 grams of protein per serving. That extra boost keeps you fuller for much longer.
The waffles are easy to heat up. In my toaster oven, they get crisp and golden after one toast cycle. The waffles are perfect for breakfast or a fast snack. They are great on their own but taste even better with a drizzle of syrup. #ad
